Just a little over a month until the In Your Face show opens in Chicago I’m getting really excited to show the new work. Keep an eye out for updates.

Order them HERE before they sell out.

JS Mildenberg is one of my absolute favorite artists & people. His work is strong, delicate, thoughtful & incredibly easy to spend hours looking at & smiling about. Please hurry up and join me in enjoying him.

In the works tonight.

I recently took part in a photo shoot for Vogue Italia, featuring “female artists to watch in NYC”. It was a great experience.  I was lucky to have familiar faces beside me, my closest friend Adrienne Dowd joined me on the shoot & industry superstar Claudia Gold AKA Claw Money also took part. Claw looked AMAZING & had just given birth to her 1st child 2 weeks before, definitely an inspiration.

The issue was released this past Friday in the US , finding myself in Italian Vogue was definitely one of the fancier moments in my life, I smiled all weekend long. We were shot by portrait photographer Francesco Carrozzini, he knows what he’s doing, everyone looks beautiful, please take a peek.

I recently made a trip out to LA to visit two friends, who over the past decade have really become family to me, Mr. & Mrs. Adam & Kate Amengual. It was a really great trip, the best of all worlds; I enjoyed several days with my nearest and dearest, beautiful weather, the Art In The Streets exhibit at MOCA (more on this later), yogurt land, and last but certainly not least, I got a sneak peek at Adam’s most recent works.

As usual, Adam’s photography blew me away, I’ve been waiting for him to finish and post his latest project on his website so that I could write about it here.

Adam spent 6 months putting together his Homeboy Industries portrait project & I think that his time and dedication to his craft is extremely evident in these bold, telling photographs.

Please take a look at both Adam’s blog & website. I’m sure you will quickly see why he is such an inspiration to me.
